Front Entrance Photo Wall Before & After
A memory of the front entrance before we painted the walls and replaced the floors. We painted over the red using a heavy duty primer. This stuff went on like thick mud but it covered the red in one coat. I chose a neutral color for the front entry and kitchen and got to it.
I made my front entrance hallway of my first home into a kaleidoscope of old black and white family portraits dating back to the early 1900s. It is finished off with a console table for keys (or sometimes junk) and Oscar’s treats for his potty breaks outside.
I’d like to say that I used a superb method for hanging all of the frames but I think Sabrina Soto would cringe at what I’m about to say. I measured the width of the wall, noted the measurement on the floor with tape and laid out my frames on the floor. Then I picked each one up and sort of eye-balled it’s placement on the wall. It actually come out level, centered, and well balanced!
